Navya Sahiti Samiti, Hyderabad, a premier literary organisation established in 1952, by
a few established writers like Sri Vemaraju Narasimha Rao, Sri K. Veerabhadra Sastry and Potukuchi Sambasiva Rao, set up in 1958, a dramatic Section to produce the plays, playlets and other music and dance programmes of its members and other cultural events on behalf of the association. This was later re-organised and re-styled as the Navya Nataka Samiti, Hyderabad, which is a continuation of the former in all respects. This was registered under the Public Societies Registration Act No. 118/1964. This was also affiliated to the A. P. Sangeeta Nataka Academy
